Think this was always the grand plan in Allen's mind.

And on further reading, Uncle Dave might be loaning the new owners the cash to buy the club while he keeps hold of the stadium which is purchased off him on a monthly installment. Keith Haslam anyone?
How much is the club worth without the stadium? This will strengthen Allen's position if it goes through. Spireite fans cant be happy with this.

I thought Dave Allen was going to stay and take them back to The Championship. It's Dave Allen who has appointed Martin Allen as manager. This does not look good for the Spireites.

Tony Kenworthy ended up in prison for perverting the course of justice after crashing his car. Has anybody read his autobiography, Blade Heart?

Don’t know If this has been mentioned but apparently Keith Cassells and Tony kennyworth are part of the group trying to buy chesterfield.

They could be ground sharing with Staveley MWFC in a couple of years.

They've just used a photo of Tony Kenworthy celebrating Wembley '87 trophy win with Keith Cassells. Keith Cassells has nothing to with this consortium.

Happy days them :)

Happy days for spireite fans soon... ha ha ha I'll look forward to seeing them in the Conference North within the next few seasons

This is a strange one, because DA was quoted recently as saying they wouldn't be selling the club whilst they were non league.

Also where does that leave their manager MA ? I can't see him hanging about if there is uncertainty.

Perhaps it explains why they have not been overactive in the transfer window recently.

I wonder how many would have purchased season tickets if this had been announced four weeks ago ?

I remember a lot of their fans mocking us during our Haslam & then conference years. What goes around...

My Spireite mate thinks that because they've sold 3000+ season tickets that they're guaranteed a return to the Football League. Can't believe the arrogance. I told him Stockport County did the same before they were relegated to the Conference North. I added that they'd been holding their own in the Conference North for 5 years though.
I'm sure Stockport didn't sell 3000 season tickets but I had to knock his duck off, he's not replied anyway :D

Didn’t Paul Holland run off and marry Tony Kenworthy’s wife?

If Carlsberg did Football Club Takeovers.

The joy of reading that ex Blade Chester and ex Stag/Blade Kenworthy, who are connected to ex Blade Chairman Brearley might be taking over the Stag & Blade hating Spireites.

Ex Blade and associated with Mansfield and convicted of a car crime.

Sounds awfully familiar. Let’s hope it all goes south. I’m not a happy clapper. I want them suffering

I think the indicator of how much a "car crash" this takeover could be (if it happens) is if Martin Allen stays or goes.

Tony Kenworthy, second greatest penalty in history after Matt Green's versus Wrexham.

Bobs Board seem to be adamant that Reg Brearley is behind it all. If he is, then there's no chance he will be allowed to be a director as he will fail the fit and proper person's test.

The take over of dreams has been dashed. Chesterfield fans taking credit for it.

1 qu. Why would a seller give a monkeys what the fans thought of an incoming owner. Surely ypus just look after your own business interests.

Im not believing any of what im reading. Its all a farce.

Especially one who has seemingly fallen out with the fans.

Very strange indeed.
