An Alfreton fan last week told me that Salford City's playing budget is £35,000 per week and that is in Conference North

Probably true because as far as I know they are full time. Same as Harrogate Town. (1st and 2nd in the league).

My main question is 'who is the player with the release clause of a free transfer if the team are relegated'. If that is Dennis I can see him getting a big signing on fee from a rival club.

I would think it is more likely to be somebody who came from a higher division that has a release clause - probably O'Grady or Dodds.

Personally, I find it astonishing that a member of their board is talking openly about plans for next season in the Conference when they stil have a mathematical chance of survival.
Obviously these discussions need to have taken place behind closed doors to ensure everything is in place if and when it does happen, but publically stating it is surely going to undermine the morale of the players and fans when what they need is positivity ?

Also interesting that a number of their fans on Bob's Board seem to think that a £1m playing budget will be top 7 or 8 at that level. Think they have a few shocks stil to co me !!

Absolutely unbelievable that their clubs hierarchy are so publicly 'throwing the towel in' at such a crucial time. Their whole set up is rotten to the core.

Assuming Morecambe don't lose.

But Morecambe’s goal difference is much better.....

If it's O'Grady, they will be clapping their hands.

A honest true interview reflecting on how poorly the club is run but surely the board wasn't that nieve that Paul Cook would one day move on n don't have a replacement waiting in the wings to fill his boots. I've been reading the conference next year is going to be a weak league.... I don't think so n like we found out it's not the ex league sides that take you by surprise it's the small clubs who want a scalp n play out of their skins for 90 minutes look at Alfreton against the Stags a team that ran the show until they got tired near the end.

Lengthy interview with Carson.

Still sounds to me like talk of a new owner is fictional.

Dropping to non-league.

Strange editing on the video - The moment he started to talk about the football they ended it. Obviously their media team also think their season's over.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the possibility of the Dark Prince stepping in to rescue his local club. There must be loads of assists to strip.

Im in a very unfortunate position today of having to root for FGR. My second most hated team.
