It was about the only good thing about working away, getting to visit new grounds. We had missed Aldershot as they came up as we went down. I got to add a few grounds I would never have made, but it was a ball ache being away weeks at a time.

Dunno, it's not my fight really.

I hope it doesn't happen but I sure as hell won't be wasting sleep over it.

Lester " a couple of little mistakes" by their keeper. "He needs to man up". Clueless.

It sounds as though even Kristian Dennis has had enough. His goals have dried up.

A few quotes from Bob's board.

Dennis - anonymous

Dennis is a luxury player atm

Not sure why Dennis has suddenly dipped, but some of the chances he has had, 2 months ago, he would have put them away!

We need to ship Dennis and Ogrady out this week and get 2 strikers in that are interested in playing for us.

Cash in on Dennis.

just as we got back from Cardiff, my next door neighbour was leaving the house for the pub. he goes to every chesterfield game and I have never seen him so down. he thinks there gone and he normally always see's the positives and thinks they will survive, not now! how times have changed asked how we got on. said we were superb against a pretty much full strength Cardiff pushing for premier league

I would take dennis, decent option up front with us having the odd knock at the moment rose/hemmings. not sure Dennis's contract if its up in the summer, if it is we should be able to get him for a low fee. he rates him, but says his heart has gone no fire left

Just watched the Lester post match interview, he is less inspiring than the grim reaper. He sounded clueless and looked shellshocked. He’s executed his master plan in the transfer window and made them worse than before. I hope he can see the job through to the end of the season!

A worrying sign from days gone by to make the sheep shudder.

After 27 games the sheep have one point less than we had after the same amount of games in 07/08... and we went down.
On the upside for them it's Looooooooun away next. :hysteria:

Lester and their fans need to ask how they can play like they did at our place for 45 minutes, but cave in so frequently against most of the division.

After seeing them at Field Mill I thought that they'd easily finish mid-table. Since then - and including their uninspiring transfer activity - I now have great doubts regarding that. For the first time I genuinely fancy that they'll drop. Everything that is happening there is so recognisable with our own horrible recent history: crap owner, bogus takeovers, recruitment on the cheap, inexperienced new manager, rolling over to all-comers, relying on getting out of trouble with young lads and inexperience. They've lost, to injury, their experienced older heads who give a crap about CFC; that could be the telling factor in the end.

I said that doomy, everyone was saying they won’t go down after they played us but I still believe they will with the results they’ve been getting. They were always going to have a lift under a new manager, but that was never going to last forever for them and now they’re mostly relying on players with little league 2 or relegation battle experience

Looks like they played out of their skins for their cup final, in an adrenaline fuelled performance.

Not a big fan of schadenfreude myself, I would rather we sort ourselves out and let them worry about themselves but at the same time it is amusing.
