The player I would have signed after the Hereford game was Marley Watkins who is now at Norwich.

Seems he's only a great non league manager when he's got the biggest budget it seems

We might be saying the same about Steve Evans!!

Luton had a larger budget than us in the Conference and probably still do now.

Poor old Mickey Moore. Every time he gets the job as Assistant Manager then the manager gets the sack. Mickey ought to have a crack at being the manager.

Mutual agreement, not sacked.

Cox will now have a sabbatical and wait for another job, someone in the Conf will be looking for a new manager soon.

They ended last season poorly, so maybe not a massive surprise.

If I were 50/50 on the job and then realise it's Barrow, I know what decision i'd come up with...

Paul Cox has a good record in the Conference/National League Premier after finishing 3rd and 1st with Mansfield and 7th with Barrow.

He'll be looking somewhere closer to home I'd imagine.

The next Notts County manager. If they are going to play direct then they might as well bring an expert in

He will be at Tranmere soon if Mellon dont get them winning.
Or Hartlepool for same reason

I'm surprised Eastleigh have not given him a chance. They have employed every other manager. I'm sure Paul Cox would get them nearer the top of the table with the cash that they have splashed out in the last two seasons. Probably too far away though.

Wasn't he on about going to Hartlepool in the summer? Think he'll end up there eventually.

Paul Cox still speaks highly of the club, JR and the fans. He was as excited as me about the fact that JR was clearly going for it this season and said that it would not surprise him if JR eventually fulfilled his ambition of getting the club to the Championship. He still looks out for our results. He also had a laugh about Lincoln City and the fact that Danny Cowley had signed "my old forward line". He also enjoys being approached by Stags fans. He said he was at Hartlepool not so long ago and a Stags fan had spotted him and come over for a chat.

Just watching Barrow play AFC Fylde on BT Sport. Not a good start for Mickey Moore who is trying to take over from Paul Cox at Barrow - a draw and a 1-0 defeat tonight against Fylde. Grant Holt who was a pundit on the show has chucked his hat into the ring.

Last season's Grimsby Town management team are now at Barrow but with their roles reversed.
