Lincoln lost 2-0 last night at Boreham Wood. Forest Green won 1-0 at home to Solihull Moors. FGR now lead table by 3 points but have played 3 games more. Can the Imps still do it or have the cup runs caught up with them? Big game for them on Saturday, Forest Green at home (live on BT Sport). They are also getting far larger crowds than we did when top of Conference. I for one would like to see them back in the Football League. Always a great away game.

Wheels are definitely showing signs of coming off. Defeat to York over two legs, now another league defeat.

No point in doing all that in fancy cups and the lark when you're staying in non-league for another year - I hope they sort it, as I don't think anyone wants Forest Green in the league.

Either way, should they fail - they should have ample money in the bank to go for it next season

I hope Lincoln get up rather than FGR.

As well as Lincoln being local and what I consider a proper league club, how can the authorities let FGR into the league when they have no sense of history or tradition, you can't get a meat pie and a Bovril at their eco-friendly ground, I would never visit on principle!

I did all the Conference grounds when we were down there but as the league is ever changing I am now missing a few.

I went to Boreham Wood last night to get the ground ticked off.

Lincoln never really looked like scoring in the first half.

Lincoln looked better in the 2nd half after Matt Rhead came on. He was typical Rhead and was winning everything in the air. They lacked width and although Arnold had a few good moments he never looked like scoring.

Lincoln's best chance came in stoppage time when Rhead's header got tipped over the bar.

Boreham Wood are one of the worst supported clubs in the National League. The crowd was 1002 last night and 601 were from Lincoln.

The FGR match is a big one on Saturday. Lincoln have 3 games in hand on FGR so cannot afford to lose.

I am going to Sutton United next week and they are also playing Lincoln.

Yes 3 points behind and if they lose the 6 pointer on Sat then it suddenly looks a tall order being 6 points behind (points in the bag etc). T'Imps need a draw at least or the slight stumble could turn into a proper face plant.

I think Tranmere look red hot for the title to be fair bang in form and have made ground up to give them belief and that's the opposite to Lincoln it looks like the plays offs to me

Tranmere for me too. They've just signed Aaron Collins as well, a brilliant signing at that level

Tranny Rovers have 7 of their last 10 matches at home, one of which is Forest Gump Rovers!!! its certainly in their hands. Mind you the picture could be a lot different on Saturday if Lincoln beat Forest Green.

The games in hand aren't an advantage to Lincoln because their fixtures go; sat, tue, sat, mon, sat, tue, fri, mon, sat, tue, sat. Serious congestion!

It's so finely poised down there.

I too think Tranmere are the biggest threat to Lincoln winning the title. Bytheway, I think Suts still plays for Tranmere. I still expect the brilliant Cowley brothers to ensure Lincoln win the league. As for Forest Green being in league 2, no thank you.

I want Lincoln to be promoted so I can dislike them on match days again. Had some great times there in the past 8-)

Lincoln will finish top. Tranny 2nd and FGR 3rd, no brainer for me, Lincoln are too good.

So if FGR win this, Lincoln need to win all three of their games in hand to draw level on 78 points....

Today is a must win or they will gooseberry it up imo

watching the game now and both sides look lower league two standard

They'd only be 6 points behind wouldn't they. Still a fair gap but only 2 wins from 3.

If FGR don't make it this year they'll keep on prising the trapdoor open to get up. Vince will keep on chucking money in till they do.

Went to Forest Green when we played there in the conference - farmer's field at the top of a village in the middle of nowhere. Give me Tamworth, Nuneaton and Telford every time.
