There's no way Bap will come to MTFC in a playing capacity. DF's already said the 'last pay cheque' boys are not the way he's looking to go next term.
Good player in his time but sadly it's not the way to go.

Not a fan of signing former players who went on to have decent careers at an higher level. It screams nostalgia cult to me. Keep the reminiscing in the bar, while watching the 20th tribute act booking of the year. Or on Stagsnet.

I'd much prefer our Club be known for catapulting quality young players onto greater things. Lap of honour twilight signings are too short termist for a Club with an ambitious & progressive owner like we have in John. He's building a Championship division level infrastructure around the Club with the Woburn Lane training facility. Best we all keep our eyes on the future as far as the playing side of things go.

He was. Very much missed when he had that lengthy injury.

I suggest you ask Steve Bruce whether signing John Terry was a bit of mistaken short-termism! Surely, it entirely depends on the character and abilities of the individual player.

Sir Les & John Terry(spit) were born leaders of men.

Of all our ex player to return rumours/wishes, i wouldn't be upset at all if Bap were to come back though. 32 yr old CB with a mid-lower Championship Lg level pedigree. Still has some miles left in him to do a job for us.

I've no problem with folk being entitled to an opinion. Even raspberries opinions.

If someone deliberately ignores the basic intent of another's opinions though, i'm entitled to write their pettiness off as them being unreachable & not worthy of continuing discourse with.

He can go back to gnawing on the journo from the CHAD's ankle.

Anyone who wouldn't bring Bap back here clearly has issues! This site is proper mental at times, resident loons and folk with totally unrealistic expectations.

I actually think that Bap coming back, perhaps on a season's loan, wouldn't be too unrealistic.

He'd be a major signing and a hugely positive addition. Although I don't think it would be a story with very long legs.
