Perhaps Bapp could be the next former player that we create a mass clamour for?

You mean like Jake Buxton. They both went on to a higher level and good careers. As much as I like both of them it is not always wise to go back to a former club.

No matter how good he's been since for other clubs (and he has been of that there's no doubt) he'll always be tainted by 'that' relegation.
If he'd thought about the club that started him on his way and came back to help us steamroller Lge 2 next season then he'd be forgiven, but till then for me the relegation is a scar.

:D My mate said he was talking to Alex Baptiste Saturday night in town.
he was having a night out and he said he was not expecting to get much game time under Ian Holloway and he said he would love to finish his career at MTFC as he loves the club.
Someone from MTFC should get themselves forward to see if it is possible.

Quite a few lads from Mansfield are in their younger days. As the saying goes, ‘You can take the lad out of Mansfield but you can’t take Mansfield out of the lad’.
