Stags hope for Sellars deal
Teamtalk
The Stags are hoping to persuade Scott Sellars to stay at Field Mill next season following some impressive performances since joining in March.
The former Newcastle and Bolton star has impressed greatly on the right of midfield in the handful of appearances he has made so far, while his free kicks have added another potent weapon to the Stags' armoury.
No one yet knows the 36-year-old's plans though he has said he will carry on playing as long as he is enjoying it.
"I have been very impressed with Scott since he came in," said manager Stuart Watkiss.
"I don't just mean with his playing ability. I also mean his football knowledge, his mannerisms, how he is with everyone has been first class.
"We will have to see how things pan out in the next couple of weeks but I believe Scott could be a major asset to this club. He is a good professional to have around the place."
