YEOVIL PREVIEWS
26th October 2015 21:12

mansfieldtown.net, 19 Oct 2015

Mansfield boss Adam Murray may be forced to alter his team's formation ahead of the trip to Huish Park tomorrow night.

Captain Nicky Hunt and centre-half Krystian Pearce are both definite absentees after the pair were both sent off during Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Bristol Rovers.

Meanwhile, manager Adam Murray is sweating on the fitness of goalkeeper Brian Jensen and full-back Mal Benning, both of whom were subject of a nasty-looking collision in the second half on Saturday.

There are doubts too about winger Craig Westcarr and midfielder Jamie McGuire who picked up knocks from the fixture.

Manager Adam Murray told http://www.mansfieldtown.net this afternoon: "With the suspensions and a large number of injuries for Tuesday night, we're down to the bare bones. But we have the ability in our squad to change shape to accommodate the numbers which we do have, and still be effective."

Yeovil v Mansfield preview

Yeovil boss Paul Sturrock faces a selection headache up front as his side look to end a run of five League Two games without a win at home to Mansfield.

Sturrock could drop top scorer Ryan Bird to the bench after replacing him with Shaun Jeffers for the final part of his side's 2-0 defeat against Notts County on Saturday.

Sturrock favours a combination of Jeffers alongside Harry Cornick and could make the call with his striking options limited following on-loan Jake Howells' return to Luton.

Yeovil are still struggling on the injury front with Kevin Dawson, Simon Gillett, Ben Tozer, Jack Compton, Omar Sowunmi and Jamie Burrows missing out again.

Mansfield boss Adam Murray will have to change his side at Huish Park.

Captain Nicky Hunt and centre-half Krystian Pearce are suspended following their red cards in Saturday's defeat to Bristol Rovers.

Murray has doubts over goalkeeper Brian Jensen and Mal Benning after they collided on Saturday and they will be assessed in the build-up to kick-off.

That is also the case for Craig Westcarr and Jamie McGuire as they picked up knocks at the weekend.
