Mansfield have received a boost with the news striker Andy White is likely to return to action for the local derby clash at Chesterfield on January 18. White suffered a knee injury in the Stags' Boxing Day win at home to Stockport and it had been anticipated that the forward would be sidelined for up to nine weeks. A Field Mill spokesman said: "It's great news that Andy is likely to be fit for the Chesterfield game. "It looks like Iyseden Christie will be suspended and Colin Larkin will be out with his hamstring injury, so to have Andy for a derby game is critical." |
