Tonight's match at home to Nuneaton Town will go ahead as planned after a successful pitch inspection at 1pm.

Local referee Dave Plowright required a 'second look' at the playing surface following an initial 10.45am inspection this morning.

Scores of people helped clear snow from the pitch yesterday in a ten-hour effort to help ensure the match would be played.

The game will kick off at 7.45pm

A further pitch inspection will be carried out at 1pm this afternoon, ahead of tonight's proposed match to Nuneaton Town.

At this stage, local referee Dave Plowright, who conducted a 10.45am inspection this morning, says he is very confident that the match will go ahead: "It [the game] is 90% on, looking at it now. But there are a few areas that need drying out and that may take a few hours"
