CURLE APPOINTMENT NOT CONFIRMED

| Contrary to reports in the media the appointment of Keith Curle has not yet been confirmed. Speaking at the TM/SSA Fans forum tonight Stags Chairman Keith Haslam said final details had to be sorted with previous manager Stuart Watkiss before Curle could be formally installed as new boss, with John Gannon promoted from the Football in the Community role to be his assistant. Stuart Watkiss has denied he left the club by mutual consent and it would appear that had he done so the appointment of Curle would already have taken place. Stuart will meet again with the Chairman tomorrow morning and a press conference is expected at around 10am. |
