Andy Todd's second-string ran out as comfortable 3-0 winners in their fixture with Grimsby Town at Blundell Park this afternoon.
Winger Louis Briscoe fired our side ahead with a magnificent 30-yard free-kick, before Ben Hutchinson doubled the advantage with another set-piece on the half-hour mark.
After the game was temporarily halted due to torrential rain and hailstones, Mariners' full-back Blaize Kerr put through his own net to complete the scoring.
Defender Exodus Geohaghon also completed the full 90 minutes as he continues his recovery from a recent hamstring problem.

Louis Briscoe fired the Stags into the lead with a long range effort on 19 minutes, with Hutchinson doubling their lead five minutes later.
The players were led from the field after a storm swept through Cleethorpes just before half time. The players returned five minutes later to complete the half.
A second half own goal by Blaze Kerr sealed the victory for the visitors.
Town's best chances fell to Greg Pearson, the first was just wide and his second effort was well saved by the Mansfield keeper.
