Kevin Wilkin considers Danny Mitchley return

NUNEATON Town boss Kevin Wilkin is contemplating whether to take injury-hit Danny Mitchley back on board after the striker played for Mansfield Town Reserves at Eastwood in a friendly earlier this week.
Mitchley, who joined Boro from the Stags in late September on loan, has been sidelined since suffering a thigh muscle injury in the 2-0 home win over Harrogate on Bonfire Night
But if the player shows no ill-effects after Tuesday night's game, he could be back at Nuneaton until the end of the season.
Wilkin said: “Danny was expected to be in the Mansfield squad at Eastwood and I shall be contacting him to see how it went. If the injury has cleared up fully then I shall certainly think about keeping him.
“He didn't have the best of luck as regards getting goals. The posts, bar and opposing defenders seemed to get in the way but he's a player who always looked a threat.
“Certainly if he's 100 per cent fit I would think seriously about extending his loan until the end of the season. He would definitely give me more options.”
