LDV holders handed Iron test

The first round draw for the LDV Vans Trophy has handed holders Blackpool a
tricky trip to Glanford Park to face Scunthorpe United.
Second Division high-flyers Wigan also have to travel, to Meadow Lane to
play Notts County, while there is an all-Conference local derby at the
McCain Stadium with Scarborough hosting Doncaster Rovers.
In the Southern Section last season's beaten finalists Cambridge United are
at home to Rushden & Diamonds.
Yeovil Town face a long trip to Lincolnchire as they face reigning
Conference champions Boston United at York Street.
In the Southern section Cardiff City and Brentford were given byes, while in
the Northern section Barnsley and Macclesfield Town go straight into the
second round.
