Stags manager Stuart Watkiss didn't speak to the media straight after the QPR game, but did talk to Mansfield 103.2 after 5pm.
He explained that he had wanted a meeting with his coaching staff and players to talk a few things through whilst still fresh in his head. He said there was "nothing sinister" about neither him nor Richo doing interviews straight after the game. Watkiss said he was relatively happy with the performance, far more satisfying than last week. He said that ruthlessness though is still the problem, and he said that the QPR bench were worried in the first half. He was pleased with all three debutants, especially Damien Delaney. |
