Baptiste plays 65 minutes in reserve game
4Mar2008 DEFENDER Alex John-Baptiste came through 65 minutes in a reserve match on Tuesday afternoon. Baptiste told mansfieldtown.net : "It felt good to play again, but I was a little bit rusty. My back injury is obviously a lot better than it was, but it does still feel a little sore. I hope to be back in contention for the first team as soon as I can be." McAliskey gave the Stags the lead with a 30th minute lob, before the Alex levelled in the 55th minute. The Stags included West Brom youth team full back Anthony Bruce, who is on trial.
