Pitch inspection for cup match
CHAD.co.uk, By Tim Morriss
THERE will be a pitch inspection at Field Mill on Tuesday at noon ahead of the FA Youth Cup tie between Mansfield Town and Carlisle United.
Sunday's heavy rain and snow, coupled with another forecasted deluge, has left the Second Round clash in doubt.

Carlisle's youth team are set to travel from Cumbria at 1pm tomorrow and a spokesman for the Stags said: "We will know before that time whether or not the game will go ahead."

Groundsman Michael Merriman added: "Due to the weather forecast, my first impressions are that the game is likely to be postponed, but we will review this at noon tomorrow."
