CHAD website, 19 March 2007

MANSFIELD Town Football Club owner Keith Haslam today stressed the club is definitely up for sale and stepped up his attempts to find a buyer.
Stags chairman James Derry assured that Mansfield Town Football Club is for sale and major shareholder Mr Haslam had today instructed that his new statement should be given to all branches of the media.
It read: "I am notifying all agencies of the media today that the club is up for sale.
"There is no question about that and no one should be left in any doubt whatsoever that this is my position.
"I look forward to receiving expressions of genuine interest and in the meantime my immediate responsibilities remain MTFC players and staff and their continued financial security at the club."
Sections of the club's supporters are planning a mass boycott of this Friday's home game with Macclesfield Town in protest at Mr Haslam's continuing ownership.
