As the season starts, catching the Stags goals on TV is going to be more tricky than recent years.
The reason is that of course regional ITV no longer has rights to show highlights. So no more Goals on Sunday on Yorkshire.

Currently only Sky have the rights to show highlights. However they have not scheduled any programmes to show the goals from all 3 divisions. There is no Soccer Extra or Football League Review, programmes that were shown 2 seasons ago, when Sky last had the rights.

Indeed the only programmes scheduled appear to be the live games.

Goals will presumably shown on Sky Sports News, but this is rather unsatisfactory as only about 60% of the screen is available for the action!

Presumably goals will be available to regional BBC and regional ITV news programmes as part of the news access rights, but using Sky footage. However we'll have to wait and see whether this is confirmed. In previous years, regional BBC has always been able to show brief goal highlights, even though BBC did not hold any rights.

One advantage over last season, is that we return to the situation of 2 years ago, when the goals on a Saturday will at least be shown the same evening on Sky Sports News, rather than having to wait until the following day.
