MARTIN Gritton's five goals in five games in January have seen him short-listed for the League Two Player of the Month award.
The on-loan Lincoln striker is joined in the nominations by ex-Stags striker Lee Peacock (Swindon Town), Michael Nelson (Hartlepool United) and Steve Phillips (Bristol Rovers).
The winner will be announced on Sky Sports One on Sunday at 11.15am.
"Martin has done very well," said boss Billy Dearden.
"We brought him in to score goals and he has scored five in six games so I am very pleased for him.
"It is hard when you're not playing games and Martin was in and out at Lincoln. But he has come here and shown everyone what he is capable of doing."

Player of the Month Nomination (January 07)
On Loan Martin Gritton's fabulous start and goal rush for the Stags has led to him being nominated for League 2 player of the month for January 2007.
Gritton who has netted five times in six games including a hat-trick at Field Mill against League strugglers Torquay had a goal (his sixth) ruled out at the weekend but his performances, overall attitude and goal scoring have seen his name thrown into the mix.
Other players nominated for the award which will see the winner being announced on Sky Sports one, approximately 11.15am on Sunday, 11th February on Sky Sports 1 include former Stag Lee Peacock:
