TM: HOW TO PLEDGE
TEAM Mansfield call for financial pledges
On Saturday over 600 loyal Stags fans met at Mansfield Civic Centre in a rally organised by TEAM Mansfield along the theme of “Giving our club its Heart Back”. This was followed by a march to the ground and the handing over of a petition of 800 signatures to a club official to be passed to the Chairman Keith Haslam calling upon him to leave the club.
The previous day Mr. Haslam had met with the joint Chairman of TEAM Mansfield where he handed over, under a confidentiality agreement, a document containing financial information. He invited TEAM Mansfield to submit a written bid for the club within 21 days. TEAM Mansfield have decided that the best way to quickly move forward is to establish how much money can be raised for such a bid and have set up a number of ways that pledges can be made which are:
Pledge phoneline: 01773 521896
Pledge fax: 01623 656525
Pledge email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The pledge is how much you are committing to TEAM Mansfield's proposed bid for Mansfield Town, should it be successful.
Please leave your name, address, telephone number, and the amount of your pledge, and we will get back to you in due course.
We can't stress enough how important this is for the future of our football club. Whatever support you can give, large or small, will be greatly appreciated.
TEAM Mansfield also urgently need to make contact with companies and private individuals who would be keen to become involved in putting together a bid. Given the urgency of the situation TEAM Mansfield would ask such people to please contact them at the numbers above.
This is an excellent opportunity for MTFC to become a true community club owned by its fans. We are perhaps at the best point for some time where a change of regime at Field Mill could be achieved but the clock is ticking and speed is of the essence!
Thanks for your support and for putting your trust in TEAM Mansfield.
Thanks also to everyone who turned up to the meeting and march on Saturday.
