Mansfield boss Peter Shirtliff has led the tributes to goalkeeping coach Peter Wilson, who died on Saturday after suffering a heart attack.
Wilson, 52, collapsed after warming up the Stags keepers for their game at Shrewsbury, which was abandoned.

"Kevin Pressman and I knew Peter from our time at Leicester," Shirtliff said.

"He was a consummate professional who loved the game, a great guy and a true friend. This is a very sad day for the Stags and for football in general."

Chairman Keith Haslam added: "I am deeply saddened, and I would like on behalf of Mansfield Town to send my heartfelt condolences to Peter's family and friends."

Mansfield have asked that messages of condolence from fans should be in writing, so that they can be passed on to Wilson's family.
