FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD ON SALE
18th August 2004 14:56

Issue 56 of the Stags fanzine Follow the Yellow Brick Road will be on sale around Field Mill on Saturday before the Kidderminster game. Price is just a quid again.

It's a bumper issue containing the usual mix of excellent articles: Steve Fleming takes a look at Coca Cola League Two. There's Home Alone & Travel Sickness with reports on this season's games so far, including a report from Chester City by FTYBR editor Steve Hartshorn. Martin Shaw reviews season 2003-04, while SSA Chairman Dean Foulkes gives his view on the emotions on the play-offs and he has also written a fictional piece called “Dream on”, where the Stags take on England in a game that ends up going to penalties. Assistant editor Emma Hartshorn takes a look at what happens the following season to the Division Three play-off losers in a piece called “What becomes of the broken hearted”. And there's a Travel Sickness Special from Cardiff by Stu Negus. Paul Taylor continues his excellent series of articles looking at different positions the Stags players have played in: this time it's “The Wingers”, a look back at the most famous wingers in the Stags history. And then there's all the latest travel details and news from the SSA, including a review of the superb new CD “The History of Mansfield Town”.

Don't you dare miss out on your copy of Issue 56 of FTYBR. From around the ground and in certain pubs from 1-30 onwards.

Martin
