Ray Mathias:
"I've just heard the results now but we'll keep firing on because we owe something to the fans so it's important that we repay them for all their support this season. It's disappointing that the results have gone against us today but we kept trying and credit to the lads, we were 2-0 up today and you can't ask anymore and we were looking forward to the second half only for some idiot to get on the roof and spoil the game. It's never happened to me in football and it was awful for people and children looking at a man dangling with his life it's absolutely stupid.”

"We have to give credit to QPR who have matched us all along lately, they've won when we have and they drawn when we have but we'll continue going and battling on in the last two games. If we can get 80 points then I doubt it would ever happen again that a club would get to that target and not make the play offs at least. We've got two games left and we've got to honour the supporters who have been excellent this season and we will be giving our all in the remaining games."
