Profile – Since the very first days when a FTYBR FC side first entered the 91/92 Notts Fanzines tournament, Bagga has been a key member. Appearances have been limited in the last few years but he has been and I suppose, always will be involved at every level of not only the production and sale of the fanzine but also with the team at all levels, from minibus driver to obtainer of netting.

Dave has won a large selection of honours and was for a long period of time, the team Captain. He remains only one of two Captains in a Mansfield Town shirt to walk up the famous steps at Wembley stadium to collect a winners trophy.

Although he will be the first to admit that father time is catching up with him, he has in the past hit vital goals for the side and is the current 2nd all time Club goalscorer. His most famous goal came at Wembley when in the last minute he finished to bring the scores back to 2-2.

Playing now in various positions, he never lets his head go down and tries to help along the younger members of the team.

Dave has, for a number of years ran a Sunday League side that still contains a few older members of the original FTYBR FC side. A dedicated Father of two, work often now dictates his number of appearances, although his enthusiasm is still as strong as it has always been.

It is without doubt that if it was not for players like Dave Baxter, FTYBR FC would not have been the side they were. A good strong friend to many and a FTYBR FC All time great.
